ProctorSys → Answer sheet checking software

For CBSE, ICSE and state-board schools

Answer sheet checking software for schools, with a teacher signing every mark.

ProctorSys checks handwritten answer sheets, not only OMR bubble sheets. Teachers photograph each copy on a phone, the AI suggests a mark and a reason for every question, and the teacher accepts or changes each one. Totals, results and report cards follow on their own.

How it works

  1. Agree the answer key with the subject teacher.
  2. Photograph the answer sheets. Any phone. Scanned PDFs work too.
  3. The AI suggests marks, in pencil, with a reason for each.
  4. Teachers sign in ink. Accept or change, question by question.
  5. Release results and print report cards. Nothing reaches students before that.

More detail: how AI answer sheet checking works.

Questions schools ask

What is answer sheet checking software?

Software that helps teachers check handwritten answer sheets on a screen instead of on paper. With ProctorSys, teachers photograph each answer sheet on a phone, the AI suggests a mark and a reason for every question, and the teacher accepts or changes each mark. Totals, results and report cards follow automatically.

Can it check handwritten answers, not just OMR sheets?

Yes. ProctorSys reads written answers, working, and short and long answers against your answer key. OMR tools only read filled bubbles. At Mallikarjun School, Pithoragarh it has checked more than 500 Class X and XII answer sheets in 12 subjects.

Do we need a scanner?

No. A phone camera is enough. A scanned PDF of a whole answer sheet also works.

Is the AI's mark final?

No. The AI only suggests, in pencil. A teacher signs every mark, and nothing reaches a student until the school releases results.

Is student data safe?

Data is kept on servers in India (Mumbai). When AI checking is switched on for an exam, photographs of the answer sheets and questions go to an AI provider, OpenAI or Anthropic, which both state they do not train on this data and delete it within 30 days.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is per school, based on the number of students and exams. Book a 15-minute demo for a quote, and try it on one class before you decide.
