ProctorSys → AI paper checking for CBSE schools
For CBSE schools · Class X and XIIAI paper checking for your CBSE pre-boards, with your teachers signing every mark.
Pre-board answer sheets arrive in stacks, and results are due before the board exams. ProctorSys reads each handwritten answer sheet against your marking scheme and suggests a mark and a reason for every answer, in pencil. Your teacher accepts it or changes it, in ink. The totals, the class analysis and the report cards make themselves.

Pre-board copy checking, step by step
- Give us the question paper and marking scheme. The key is agreed with the subject teacher, including the other answers and methods that teacher accepts.
- Photograph or scan the answer sheets. A phone is enough. Upload when the internet is good; nothing has to be done live.
- The AI suggests a mark and a reason for every question, with the page it read. An answer it cannot find is shown as "no answer found", never guessed.
- The teacher checks question by question and accepts or changes each mark. The school releases results when it is ready.
Built around the CBSE marking scheme
- Marks per question, against your scheme. The reason under each suggestion says why, so the teacher can check it at a glance.
- Your teachers' standard, not the AI's. Strictness is set per exam, and the key is adjusted after the first few answer sheets if the suggestions differ from the teacher's own marks.
- Notes to the examiner get no AI mark. "Please give full marks, sir" is left for the teacher.
- Submitted marks lock until the school admin reopens them, and each teacher sees only their own classes.
Practise On-Screen Marking at the same time
CBSE now marks Class XII board answer books on screen. Checking your own pre-boards on a screen, question by question, is good practice for teachers before board season. Our guide to CBSE On-Screen Marking explains what changed and what your computer lab needs.
ProctorSys is not CBSE's On-Screen Marking portal. Board answer books are marked only on CBSE's own system. ProctorSys is for your school's own exams.
Questions CBSE schools ask
Is ProctorSys CBSE's On-Screen Marking portal?
